Brainstorming Technology Terms

While searching for poems about technology + art, I came across a lesson plan for Peace Poems at readwritethink.org.  What a great find!  Not exactly what I was looking for, but it inspired me reconsider my approach, because the lesson plan introduced me to Diamante & Acrostic poetry tools.  Using these tools I created 2 poems.  They don't have to rhyme or have any rhythm.

This gave me a great starting point for my ePoem in Scratch, because it motivated me to brainstorm words that relate to technology.  I googled technology images to get my brainstorming started.  I came up with a long list of words just from looking at the image results.

Brainstorming is a great way to get free thoughts going on any topic, so it helps with visualizing and creatively expressing a topic.

Blank Canvas

Where to start? I think it's best to have the idea for the poem before learning Scratch.  That way as I experiment with Scratch,  I can be experimenting with my poem at the same time.

So what will the poem be about? I teach technology, but I am an artist too.  Since my work is always art + technology,  maybe I can combine these as my theme.  OK ... Then what would a poem about art + technology look like? Hey I bet there are some such poems already!  Time to do some googeling!
